Nancy Starr, nancy@frolickingfrog.com
Freelance Web Developer
Nancy L Starr has been a technology maven for over 20 years; one of her particular areas of expertise is accounting systems. Nancy's involvement with accounting systems began early in her IT career, when she worked for a Philadelphia bank as a computer operator. Finding her niche, she quickly moved into a customer-facing role as a thrift-software conversion specialist, including training of key personnel. Throughout the 90's, she worked with firms in Southwest Florida to implement business automation projects, including fund accounting, for non-profits such as the Boys and Girls Club and the Cape Coral Computer Club. Nancy performed countless accounting system conversions, database installations, and point-of-sale system set-ups. For almost 9 years, she was employed by the Lee County, Florida, School System as a part-time computer instructor, and continues to train people on productivity techniques with software tools such as Microsoft Office, and the Adobe Web Production Suite today.
From 2000 to 2006, Nancy worked at Sony's national call center as an escalation specialist and senior technician for their VAIO computer line.
