We would like to invite your company to sponsor the first NCTech4Good Conference, Friday, June 25, 2010 in Chapel Hill. This state-wide conference's focus is how technology can advance the mission of nonprofit organizations. We are expecting about 150 technology providers and nonprofit professionals to attend. We are seeking sponsorships primarily so that, in these still difficult economic times, we can offer scholarships to many of the attendees.

Sponsor benefits include

  • your logo on conference materials,
  • recognition during the conference welcome and at the reception which will immediately follow it,
  • exhibit space at the conference, and
  • complimentary registration for one or more people (at sponsorship levels $250 and above).

Financial contributions are most welcome, but we also will appreciate (and credit at their value) in kind contributions such as

  • name tag holders, pens, pads and other registration supplies,
  • wine and beer for the reception, and
  • logistics support such as duplicating conference materials.

We also have a unique opportunity for one sponsor to co-brand The Idealware Field Guide to Software for Nonprofits to distribute to the conference attendees as well as to their own employees or clients. Please contact Nancy Shoemaker, nancy@shoemakergroup.com, 919-819-2598, by May 15, 2010, if you are interested in pursuing this opportunity.

NCTech4Good and the conference are supported by the N.C. Center for Nonprofits, United Way of the Greater Triangle, Public Information Network, Inc. (also known as RTPnet), NTEN, and NetSquared — all organizations dedicated to providing nonprofit organizations support and education on improving efficiency and effectiveness through information technologies. RTPnet hosted six similar conferences in 2000-2005 and we will build upon their experience.

We are including a list of sponsorship levels below.

You may register to become a sponsor using the online form or you may complete the attached Microsoft Word form and email it to info@nctechforgood.org or you may print the attached pdf file and mail it to NCTech4Good Conference, c/o Judy Hallman, 1078 Lystra Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27517.

You can review the current agenda.

If you have any questions (for example, regarding in-kind offers), please contact Judy Hallman, hallman@email.unc.edu (preferred), 919-933-3931.
